Can I import my subscribers from my old autoresponder service, WITHOUT them having to re-confirm again?

Solution Whilst it is possible to import an existing list you may own to your new Wizardresponder Account, under most circumstances, your subscribers will need to re-confirm their wish to receive messages from you.

The reason for this is because in order for Wizardresponder to adhere to the many CAN SPAM regulations, we can only allow subscribers that have been acquired through a DOUBLE OPTIN System, to be present on any of our member's lists.

Any subscribers that have been gained from list building systems, that DID NOT REQUIRE YOU TO BUILD YOUR LIST YOURSELF, WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR IMPORTING UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

We believe this type of list building systems actually damage email marketing as a whole, so don't even bother asking.

All imported lists will need to confirm their wish to receive messages from you, by clicking a verification link in a confirmation message that will be sent to them.
If your subscriber list comes from a similar Double Optin system to ours, it MAY be possible to import your list without the need for re-confirmation.

This TOTALLY depends on the details you can provide about your subscribers and would need to be confirmed via a support ticket.

Once agreed, you will need to export your subscriber details from your existing autoresponder account, to a .csv (comma separated file) and send it to us for importing. Your existing autoresponder provider should be able to help you with this process.

It's important to remember to export ALL THE DETAILS AVAILABLE about your existing list, as this will often contain crucial details about your subscribers optin method.

If you're unsure, please submit a support ticket.
